BIO

Brent is a long-time Kansas native residing in south-central Kansas for most of his life. While in high school, he began working as an electrical apprentice and continued on that path after graduation. After spending a few years as a licensed electrician, Brent’s focus shifted to the business side of electrical contracting, where he served in different capacities, including operations manager and president.

After working for over 20 years with the same electrical contractor, Brent came to recognize that he was more interested in people than he was in business. His curiosity led him to take an introductory psychology class at Wichita State University, where he would later become a full-time student. After graduating from WSU with a bachelor’s degree in psychology in 2021, Brent began a doctoral program in clinical psychology at Pacifica Graduate Institute in California. Brent chose to attend Pacifica because he resonated with their emphasis on understanding each individual's unique experience as paramount for healing.

Brent is finishing his third year of graduate coursework and applying his experience and education to his therapeutic work with patients. Brent believes that everyone has a unique spark within themselves that strives for wholeness. As such, he works with patients to activate the healer inside of them through increased self-awareness and compassion.

To recharge, Brent enjoys woodworking, fly fishing, spending time in nature, and family movie nights. Some of his favorite places to be involve the beach and plenty of sunshine.
